The challenge has been set for all those enterprising classes at Markyate Village School.
In a mix of ‘Dragon’s Den’ meets ‘The Apprentice’ the children and their teachers have been given a £10 investment to make into as much profit as possible by June 7th.
Any profit made will be given back to the classes to spend on whatever they wish. Ideas for spending so far include: a class trip, redecorating the classroom in their class colour, games and Lego for wet play and Golden time and a Wii!
The children are being very creative with their money spinning ventures from cake sales to pantomimes – the ideas are endless. We hope you will all be able to support them [and us] with this enterprise and I will keep you posted with how they all get on.
