We are very fortunate to be able to offer our children training in being ‘mindful’.
Mindfulness is learning how to focus on the present moment. By doing this, it has been scientifically proven to help a child’s emotional state, which in turn can enhance academic achievement. Mindfulness is a life skill, not a therapy, and provides children with a set of tools, which can be used in everyday life.
Mindfulness gives children the opportunity to reflect on their feelings, to learn how to cope with change and to recognize when they do not feel comfortable or happy and what to do about it.
