 Breakfast Club

Children are welcome to come and have breakfast at school from 7:50am until the start of the school day at 8:50am on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning.
Our very popular Breakfast Club costs £5.10 for the first child and £4.90 for any siblings, a day. Due to popular demand spaces are pre-booked half-term in advance and invoiced at the end of the half term. Forms are available from the school office.
Children can have a breakfast of cereal and/ or toast and there are a range of games and activities to keep them busy!

Clubs during the school day

At Markyate School, we offer a wide range of clubs for children of all ages, every day. Our clubs include Lego Club, Mindfulness Drawing Club, ECO Club, Reading Club, Science Club, Choir and Football.  The full range of clubs are shown in the table below. Some of our clubs are run by our staff, some are run by our Sports Captains, Prefects and School Ambassadors and our football clubs are run by external sports coaches. The most important thing, is to get involved!

After School Club

Markyate School does not run its own After School Club. However there are a number of Ofsted regulated Childminders and After School Clubs that operate in the village and provide after school care for children. They can be contacted through the Hertfordshire Childcare Directory using the link below. Please contact our school office if you need any help.
